I have been married for 9 ½ years, and for the last 7 of those years I have been trying to get pregnant.  For the first year or so I tried without help from a doctor.  As time went by I realized something was wrong so I sought professional help.  It turned out that I had endometriosis.  I had surgery to correct the problem knowing that if I didn't get pregnant within the next l1 months, the endometriosis would return.  The 18 months went by quickly, and after following the doctors charts, diagrams and using fertility drugs and everything available, nothing happened.  The endometriosis returned, and once again I needed surgery.

After my second surgery, my doctor informed me that time was running out, and that if we didn't conceive in the next three months, we would never have children naturally (the only possibility of having our own children would be through drastic measures such as artificial insemination and invitro-fertilization.)  These are very expensive options and cost many thousands of dollars with no guarantees or promises of success.  We didn't conceive in the next three months, so we chose to participate in the artificial insemination program of the University of Utah (U of U), and did so for several months,  costing well over a thousand dollars, with absolutely no success.

We decided to quit seeking the help of doctors and accepted the fact that we wouldn't have children of our own.  Two years later, in January 1997, we went on the USANA cruise.  It was there that I met Dr. Ladd McNamara.  I was aware he had been helping his patients with the very problem I had, utilizing USANA products.  I thought I would see if he could give me any advice and so I approached him with my problem.  To my amazement, this generous man took 20 minutes from his family and friends and give me his undivided attention.  Dr. McNamara suggested that I increase the amount of Proflavonal I was taking to 8 tablets a day, and CalMag to 6 tablets a day.  I took his advice when I got home.

After one year, my endometriosis had become less painful. Well, in my 13^th month of following Dr. McNamara's advice, taking 8 Proflavonal and 6 CalMag tablets a day, along with the Essentials, I got pregnant!  I didn't use the U of U or my doctors help.  When I called my doctor to set up an appointment, the office staff was shocked because it had been more than 3 years since my second operation.  I am currently about 11 weeks along and out of the critical period.  I know the USANA products had everything to do with me conceiving, and know they were gradually helping me month after month because my endometriosis became less painful and less severe.  With faith and many prayers, and the wonderful USANA products, we are going to have a child.  I am so grateful to Dr. McNamara and his advice.
